fees

My Life Consulting/Counselling rate is $50.00 tax included per hour session. The reason my rate is reasonable is because I want to help people who don’t have benefits or can’t afford sessions. I am a senior and just want to do my part. I still have costs associated with my practice.
To keep it simple, I ask for etransfer.
​Part of the reason for etransfer is because the fee must be paid before the session begins.  
If you want a receipt to cover benefits, you would have to ask your Human Resources rep. Usually companies cover psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers, but rarely will they cover counsellors or consulting.  You cannot use a receipt for individual income tax purposes unless the professional is one of the above.
Depending on what kind of professional you require, you might find it more cost effective to go with me depending on how many sessions you need. If your benefit plan covers $300-$500, but the professional charges $150 an hour and you plan to see the professional for 4 or or more sessions, it would be more cost effective to see me. 
Regarding Life Consulting/Counselling, I require 24 hours notice of any appointment cancellation.

​Method of Payment: Online Interac e-transfer paid before the session. We can use Zoom, but you would have to invite me to a session.  Because of my hourly rates, I keep my own costs as low as possible.

​​IN PERSON COnsulting /CounseLling

Method of Payment: Cash at the session or online Interac e-transfer. Either one payable at or before the session.

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE AN INTERAC E-TRANSFER:

​An easy, convenient method of payment is Interac e-transfer.
To make an Interac e-transfer:

• Log into online banking
• Locate interac e-transfer
• Fill in the interac e-transfer information and send
• You then provide a security answer (usually a security answer is not required as it goes directly into my account).

Email notification of the transfer is sent to the recipient
